The Olger Dyke

The Olger Dyke

The Olger Dyke is a prehistoric earthwork and defensive structure stretching across the Jutlandic peninsula. It was constructed in AD 31 at the latest and maintained for more than one hundred years.

This period is called the Roman Iron Age because during this time, the Romans ruled over the western and southern parts of Europe. The Roman Iron Age spans from the birth of Christ to around 350 AD.
