The museum will open again on June 8th

Museum Sønderjylland will, granted there are no changes in the coming month, open its doors again on June 8th

We will, however, inform of any tentative changes to the date of our opening.

Until our opening, all events and activities are cancelled.

Because all of MSJ’s employees are as present, sent home, calls to our main number; 65 37 37 00, will not be answered. Contact the individual Department Head directly, or write to sekretariat@msj.dk

We will keep you notified about our opening here.

A museum for the entire region

Museum Sønderjylland's 10 venues, museums and cultural heritage sites offer experiences and information within a subject range spanning archaeology, art, history and natural history.

At Sønderborg Castle you will be told the tale of the dukes, the (Schleswig) wars and the Reunification in 1920. In Tønder you can experience Northern European art in a fascinating interplay with the finest crafts from the 17th century to the present day. In Aabenraa you encounter Southern Jutland art in Southern Jutland's smallest and most charming castle, and in Gram you can take the whole family fossil hunting, looking for 10-million-year-old fossils.

Visit our other exciting museums as well and engage in this year's many activities. Find it all on our website.

Welcome to a world of experiences, activities and knowledge in the whole of Southern Jutland.
