Whether you are interested in archaeology, art, history, or natural history, you will find engaging exhibitions and inspiring stories at our museums across Southern Jutland. Children under 18 have free admission.

the entire region

Museum Sønderjylland's 10 venues, museums and cultural heritage sites offer experiences and information within a subject range spanning archaeology, art, history and natural history.

At Sønderborg Castle you will be told the tale of the dukes, the (Schleswig) wars and the Reunification in 1920. In Tønder you can experience Northern European art in a fascinating interplay with the finest crafts from the 17th century to the present day. In Aabenraa you encounter Southern Jutland art in Southern Jutland's smallest and most charming castle, and in Gram you can take the whole family fossil hunting, looking for 10-million-year-old fossils.

Children under 18 have free admission to our ten museums.
