The Art Museum in T\u00f8nder invites you to explore North European art from the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.<\/p>\n

The museum boasts a large and extraordinary collection of Danish surrealism, including seminal works by Wilhelm Freddie, Vilhelm Bjerke Petersen, and Rita Kernn-Larsen, as well as important works by early Danish modernists. The temporary exhibitions showcase the evolution and diversity of art throughout time, providing insight into shifting styles, techniques, and themes.<\/p>\n

You can also explore a permanent exhibition dedicated to Danish designer chairs by Hans J. Wegner.<\/p>\n

Cultural History T\u00f8nder has a lift between the floors and in the Water Tower.<\/p>\n

Part of the museum is situated in the listed Porthouse, where certain rooms are difficult to reach for wheelchair users.<\/p>\n

Upon request the museum staff will lend you a ramp that gives wheelchair users access to some of the rooms, including the Silver Chamber.<\/p>\n

There is a disabled toilet by the Pump House, on the 7th floor of the Water Tower and by the caf\u00e9 in the Art Museum.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
